In ’The Trouble with Jessica,’ Sarah (Shirley Henderson) and Tom (Alan Tudyk) are a married couple facing dire financial challenges. On the verge of losing everything, they have finally found a potential buyer for their chic London home. As their closest friends, Richard (Rufus Sewell) and Beth (Olivia Williams), join them for a farewell dinner, an unexpected and uninvited presence arrives in the form of Jessica (Indira Varma), an old friend.

In a shocking turn of events, a seemingly trivial argument leads to a devastating outcome as Jessica tragically hangs herself in the garden. Faced with the potential collapse of the home sale and financial ruin for their family, Tom rushes to call the police. However, Sarah realizes they must find a way to conceal the truth from the buyer. Their desperate plan: convince their friends, Richard and Beth, to move Jessica’s body to her flat and stage it as if she took her own life there. With everything at stake, they embark on a risky path, hoping they can outwit any potential consequences. But can they truly avoid the repercussions of their actions?
